Typically, our involvement is to collate invoices and packing lists for presentation to the distribution company so that the appropriate shipping document can be issued, whether the goods are to be moved by sea, air, trailer, courier/post or rail.

Point-to-Point also helps with marine insurance by co-ordinating the information required to assist in the completion of insurance certificates.

Certificate of Origin Forms for International Trade

A Certificate of Origin of goods is the main factor in determining eligibility for preferential rates of customs duty, Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) charges, liability to Anti-Dumping Duty and eligibility for some tariff quotas and is required by many contracts. Point-to-Point helps identify the information needed to ensure the form is completed correctly, thereby avoiding any delays in issue.

We undertake the same function in the preparation of EUR1 documents (for goods moving between the EC and European Free Trade Association countries) and ATR documents (for goods moving between the EC and Turkey). In these cases, the relevant documentation is prepared for stamping by Customs and Excise.
